📝 STK Enterprise Shipping & Logistics Policy
Global Logistics & Fulfillment Protocols
At STK Enterprise, our goal is to bridge the gap between massive computational demand and verified hardware availability. To ensure a balance of speed, cost-efficiency, and reliability, we operate a global supply chain with strategic fulfillment hubs in both North America and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
1. Global Fulfillment Hubs & Processing
Our inventory is distributed across key global tech hubs to optimize availability:
-
Fulfillment Origins: Depending on the specific components, your order may be dispatched from our North American facilities or directly from our APAC logistics centers (including Hong Kong and Mainland China).
-
Processing Time: Standard components are typically processed, verified via our Quality Assurance (QA) team, and dispatched within 1-3 business days.
2. Professional Packaging Standards
We bridge the gap between premium enterprise infrastructure and cost-effective logistics. Unlike typical hardware brokers, we do not compromise on component safety during transit.
-
Small to Medium Parcels: All sensitive silicon (GPUs, CPUs, Memory) and networking cards are strictly sealed in ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) shielding bags, secured with custom shock-absorbing foam, and packed in heavy-duty corrugated boxes.
-
Bulk Orders: Larger server nodes or bulk orders are appropriately palletized, edge-protected, and shrink-wrapped for safe international transit.
3. Shipping Carriers & Transit Times
We utilize trusted international express and freight networks to deliver your hardware reliably.
-
Standard International Express: For individual components and small parcels, we partner with top-tier international couriers (such as DHL, FedEx, and UPS). Average transit times range from 5 to 10 business days, depending on the origin hub and destination customs.
-
LTL / Air Freight: For heavier infrastructure orders, we coordinate mid-tier air freight or LTL (Less Than Truckload) services to balance cost and delivery speed.
4. Insurance & Liability (Important)
We take every precaution in packaging, but international transit carries inherent risks. Please review our coverage policies carefully:
-
Standard Coverage: By default, all shipments are covered only up to the carrier's standard liability limits, which does not cover the full replacement value of high-end compute hardware.
-
Supplemental Insurance (Recommended): For high-value orders (e.g., enterprise GPUs or high-density nodes), we strongly recommend requesting full-value supplemental insurance prior to finalizing your Purchase Order. This is available for an additional premium.
-
Risk of Loss: The risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier (for EXW terms) or upon signed receipt at the destination (for DAP terms).
5. Customs, Duties & Taxes
Navigating global IT hardware transit requires clear compliance.
-
Unless otherwise explicitly stated in your contract, standard international shipments are delivered under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms.
-
Buyer's Responsibility: The buyer is strictly responsible for all local import duties, VAT, clearing fees, and providing any necessary import licenses to their local customs authority. STK Enterprise will provide accurate commercial invoices, ECCNs, and HS codes to facilitate smooth clearance.
6. Receiving & Inspection Protocols
To protect your investment and validate any potential carrier claims, please adhere to our strict receiving protocol:
-
Inspect Before Signing: Visually inspect all boxes or pallets before signing the delivery receipt.
-
Notate Exceptions: If the packaging shows any signs of crushing, punctures, or water damage, you must write "Damaged / Subject to Inspection" on the carrier's paperwork and take timestamped photographs.
-
48-Hour Reporting Window: Any physical damage to the hardware must be reported to your STK representative within 48 hours of receipt. Claims submitted beyond this window cannot be processed with the carrier.
